A história se passa nos EUA entre 1928 e 1929.O grande desenvolvimento econômico dos EUA faz com que a ganância domine cada vez mais seres humanos.Este se torna um ambiente ideal para os demônios fazerem suas maldades: enquanto fingem ajudar os humanos, na realidade se utilizam destes para os seus próprios objetivos.Para enfrentar tamanho mal a igreja católica criou a ordem de Magdalan cujos membros (padres,freiras e etc)tem a função de exorcizar e destruir estes monstros.
